Deutsche Boerse AG’s (DB1.XE, DBOEF) International Securities Exchange is looking to launch its second U.S. options exchange during the current quarter, pending approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission, the exchange operator said Thursday.
The ISE will call its planned second U.S. options exchange ISE Gemini, according to a company statement.
“ISE Gemini represents a complementary options platform that will stand “side-by-side” with ISE’s existing options exchange and together will act as drivers for long-term growth and innovation at ISE,” the exchange operator said in the release.
